Our Essential oils are aromatherapy
grade, 100% pure and concentrated. The most important
part of achieving a dark henna stain when mixing your own Henna
Paste is the oils you use. You may have seen them referred to
as "Terps" which is short for
essential oils with high amounts of monoterpene alcohols. These alcohols are what make
your henna stain darker and faster especially on hard to stain areas
such as legs, backs and the chest. The 5 Essential Oils that have the highest amounts of monotepene alcohols are:
Cajeput, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus,
Lavender & Ravensara.
These Oils
are a must for mixing Henna Powder, without them your mix
will be light and orange in color. You can use just one type
of oil or use them all in your mix it is a smell preference
with most Henna Artists as each oil has a unique smell.

Black Tea
from India
1 oz. bag
This tea will make your henna paste stain extra dark. It's
stronger then the
tea you get in the USA and has
more acidity to it making it a necessary ingredient in mixing
your own Henna.
|
Black Walnut Powder
1 oz. Bag
Use walnut powder to make your henna stain darker brown in color.
You can
either add the powder to your henna
mix or simmer it with
your tea mix
and
add it with the liquids. This stuff
really works and you only need a
teaspoon for every 100 grams of
henna powder.
|
Cloves
1 oz.
imported
from India
Another way to make your henna stain
darker. Just boil the cloves in with
your tea for darker
stains guaranteed.
This is an ancient practice and it really does darken the stain. It gives your Henna a
great smell too!
